being different than the indifference

his heart my voice is in many ways about living the life that Jesus has asked us to live. It is hard to live the crazy life that the authors of the New Testament quoted Jesus saying. Give to the poor, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, love your enemies, and love your neighbor as yourself is just the start of the radical examples that Jesus gave us to follow. The result is engaging the needs of the people around us with a helping hand, and never allowing indifference into our thoughts and attitudes. Well, this is truly a challenge. It's not something he gave to organizations to do, but he gave the expectation to every individual. All we can say to God at times is, "change my heart to think about others as more important than myself."

In October of 2010 the Richardson family and 4 interns set out to establish his heart my voice and life in Kenya. They have already held a full round of internship/discipleship, and will be beginning a new round soon. They have rescued a mother and five children off the streets of Nairobi, and got one street-boy back in school. They have continually shared with new friends this radical way of living and loving others. This will be a long road ahead to establish this ministry and influential network in Kenya. It's an uphill push, but we show no signs of stopping.
